Cognition AI is in early discussions to raise funding at a valuation of around $25 billion, more than double its current $10.2 billion valuation. The AI coding startup, founded in late 2023, aims to develop an autonomous AI software engineer named Devin. It recently raised over $400 million led by Founders Fund and has seen rapid growth, with annual recurring revenue increasing from $1 million to $73 million in less than a year.
